About the Role

As the Digital Workplace & Technology Enablement Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption and effective use of Microsoft 365 and associated digital tools across the organisation. This is a strategic and hands-on role that blends technical expertise, change management, and project delivery to enhance collaboration, productivity, and service delivery.

You will lead the design and implementation of digital workplace solutions, manage a Microsoft 365 Analyst, and act as a key enabler of technology-driven transformation. This role sits within the Technology team, part of the wider Digital, Data and Transformation department

About You

We are currently looking for an organised self-starter, capable of working collaboratively with colleagues at all levels, and has great inter-personal skills to join our dynamic, ambitious team. 

A key part of this role will be your ability to communicate effectively with people with various levels of confidence with technology and listen attentively when gathering critical requirements or understanding the basis of user concerns that are being articulated.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion the adoption of Microsoft 365 tools (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform) to support modern, flexible, and collaborative ways of working.
  • Lead change management initiatives to ensure successful technology adoption, including stakeholder engagement, training, and communications.
  • Manage and deliver technology projects using appropriate project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
  • Work alongside the Technical Service Lead to apply IT Service Management (ITSM) principles to improve service delivery, incident resolution, and user satisfaction.
  • Managing key organisation wide projects working with internal stakeholders (including our retail operations) and vendors to deliver gather and deliver requirements successfully.
  • Design and optimise business processes in collaboration with operational teams to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, translating business needs into technical solutions and ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
  • Maintain strong documentation, governance, and reporting practices to ensure transparency and accountability.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft 365 and its application in modern workplace transformation.
  • Proven experience in leading change management initiatives related to technology adoption.
  • Solid understanding of project management principles and experience delivering digital or IT projects.
  • Familiarity with ITSM frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and their practical application in service environments.
  • Experience in process mapping, design, and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Experience in training and upskilling users across varying levels of digital confidence.

Desirable

  • Experience working in the not-for-profit or public sector.
  • Knowledge of Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) and low-code/no-code solutions.
  • Understanding of data governance and digital security best practices.
  • Experience of working within managed services providers to delivery effective outcomes
